We verify your registration
YellowNest confirms your Ofsted registration and ensures your setting meets HMRC's Workplace Nursery Benefit requirements. We handle this entirely — you don't need to contact Ofsted or HMRC yourself.
You sign a partner agreement
A straightforward partner agreement sets out the payment schedule, our service terms, and the responsibilities of each party. Most nurseries sign within a day of receiving it. No legal costs or lengthy procurement.
We list you in our partner network
Your nursery appears in the YellowNest partner directory. Parents whose employers are already enrolled can select your setting immediately. Families actively search for YellowNest partner nurseries when choosing childcare.
We collect fees from employers each month
For every enrolled family at your setting, YellowNest collects the sacrificed salary amounts directly from their employer's payroll run. You are not involved in collection — your payment is arranged before it reaches the family.

YellowNest transfers the full fee to your nominated bank account on the agreed date each month — every month, without exception. No chasing invoices, no late payments, no reconciliation work for your team.

There are no fees charged to your nursery for joining or remaining in the YellowNest network. Our service is funded entirely by the employee-side fee. Joining is free, and you can leave at any time with 30 days' notice.
What we need from you
Current Ofsted registration
Your setting must hold a current Ofsted registration (England) or equivalent registration body in Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland. We verify this as part of onboarding — no documents to post.
Care for children from birth to age 5
The Workplace Nursery Scheme covers children from birth until they start school. Your setting can be a day nursery, nursery school, or childminder — as long as it provides registered care for this age range.
A UK business bank account
We pay fees by direct bank transfer to a UK business account in your nursery's name. Payments arrive on the same date each month, making cash flow management straightforward.
A named contact for administration
We need one named contact at your setting — typically the owner, manager, or finance lead — who can respond to monthly payment confirmations and any queries from our team. We keep contact to a minimum.
